Disable Popup Blocker

In order to ensure optimal functionality and minimize the possibility of lost work, it is highly recommended that users turn off their browser's popup blocker when using PeopleSoft.

STEP-BY-STEP Guide:

Internet Explorer (Windows)

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on "Internet Options".
  3. Click "Turn Off Pop-up Blocker" to disable the functionality.
  4. If you want to choose which websites to allow and still keep the blocker functionality, click "Pop-up Blocker Settings" instead.

Firefox (Windows)

  1. Open Firefox and click on the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on "Options".
  3. Select the "Content" tab.
  4. Uncheck "Block Popup Windows"
  5. Click "OK"

Firefox (Mac)

  1. Open Firefox and click on the "Firefox" menu.
  2. Click on "Preferences".
  3. Select the "Content" tab.
  4. Uncheck "Block Popup Windows"

Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari and click on the "Preferences" menu.
  2. Select the "Security" tab.
  3. Uncheck "Block Pop-Up Windows".

Chrome (Windows and Mac)

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click the menu button in the upper right next to the address bar. (three dots or three horizontal bars)
  3. In the drop down menu click "Settings".
  4. Click the "Show Advanced Settings" at the bottom.
  5. Under "Privacy", click the "Content Settings" button.
  6. Check the "Allow all sites to show pop-up" box.
  7. To Enable pop-ups on specific sites, check "Do not allow any site to show pop-up" and click "Exceptions" and enter the URL(s).
